Sterling Business College has a dedicated team who understand the study journey that you are taking and they are ready and willing to help you. We are located in a progressive area of Perth city, close to lunch bars, cafès and a supermarket in the nearby shopping precinct.
Our average class size is around 15 – large enough for the exchange of ideas, but small enough for everyone to be heard. Subjects are delivered over 9 week periods. Each subject has clear aims and a timeframe short enough to maintain dynamic, and well-planned study.
New timetables are emailed to all students approximately two weeks prior to each term. Study at Sterling Business College is designed to allow time out for other important aspects of your life. Classes are usually held over 3 days, so you have some time out for extra study, work experience, or a casual job.
The Student Room is available for students to relax during their study breaks and includes the following facilities:
- Snack vending machine offering snacks, soft drinks, juices, chocolates and health food bars
- Microwave ovens
- Filtered water
- Hot drink vending machine, including coffee, hot chocolate, chai latte and soup
- Computers for personal use
Every term, Sterling Business College organises a special event for students. In the past we have enjoyed Melbourne Cup, Worksafe Week, Easter and Christmas activities.
STUDENT ID CARD
If you are studying full-time, you are entitled to a student ID card. This card allows student concession rates for entertainment and travel. Your photo is taken at an orientation session and the ID card is issued within 2 working days.
We have around sixty computers for training, private study and to keep in touch with family and friends. Computers are available to students in 5 dedicated areas of the College. You are welcome to make use of our free wi-fi as well.
There is an orientation session for new students prior to the beginning of each term. This is an opportunity to meet our administration staff and to introduce you to the College and its facilities. At orientation our students receive their individual, comprehensive orientation pack, information on their class timetable, student ID card, health insurance card (for international students) and a transport concession card (Smart Rider) that gives you a discount on all train, bus and ferry fares.
EASY TO GET THERE
Sterling Business College is located in the Free Transit Zone (for buses) and a SmartRider Free Transit Zone (for trains) within the Perth city boundaries.
