COURSE DESCRIPTION
Certificate III in Education Support will equip graduates
to work as a qualified teacher’s assistant in either the public or private
educational sector with children aged from 3 – 15 years. Work undertaken by Teacher Assistants
with a Certificate III will be under the direct supervision of a teacher or
supervisor.
Students are
able to supplement the theory provided by the trainers with an ongoing
practical work placement.
On completion of this course, graduates have the option
to enter the workforce or proceed to Certificate IV in Education Support
COURSE DURATION
6 months - includes a weekly work experience component
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Completion of Year 10 or equivalent. Upon acceptance of enrolment, students
need to provide a current medical clearance, and a police clearance.
