COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a short course designed for students who want to explore community work. Students will learn about the community services sector and ethical behaviour. Students will also develop skills in communication, information provision and processing, and administration support, networking and group support. This course meets the needs of students wishing to enter the Community Services Work industry in the areas of health care, aged care, children’s services and disability services. There is no work experience offered with this program.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Completion of Year 10 or equivalent.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates are trained in the competencies required to work in the health or aged care industry, children’s services and disability services industries also.
