Academic Requirements
Certificate I to Certificate III – You must have completed 10 years of schooling or equivalent
Certificate IV to Advanced Diploma - You must have completed 12 years of schooling or Certificate III or equivalent
English Language Requirement
All our programs require a minimum level of English proficiency. International students who need to improve their English skills can package an English language course with their Sterling Business College Course through Perth International College of English or Milner International College of English.
Exemption from Units
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a form of assessment that acknowledges skills and knowledge gained through:
- Formal training by industry or education
- Work experience
- Life experience;
and measures this knowledge and experiences against the mandatory learning outcome/performance criteria in a specific unit of a course.
Skills recognition may only be given for whole units of competencies. You can only exempt from a whole unit/units of competency.
International students who successfully gain skills recognition may be required to undertake alternative units to ensure that they maintain a full-time workload.
