AUSTRALIAN QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework. An AQF qualification is the result of an accredited complete program of learning that leads to formal certification that a graduate has achieved learning outcomes as described in the AQF.

Sterling Business College is authorised to issue AQF qualifications and these qualifications are recognised all around Australia and by other countries.

The AQF links together the qualifications and is a highly visible, quality-assured national system of educational recognition that promotes lifelong learning and a seamless and diverse education and training system.

The AQF levels define the relative complexity and depth of achievement and the autonomy required of graduates to demonstrate that achievement. In the AQF there are 10 levels with level 1 having the lowest complexity and AQF level 10 having the highest complexity.
